Here is our new addition “Canon”, isn’t he adorable?! He wasn’t the puppy we had originally set out to get but he once he looked into our eyes and wagged his cute tail, he was ours (or is it that we were his?). He is a sweet boy and he love sleeping on his back with his tongue hanging out. He also is a big fan of chasing my two year old around and of course belly rubs. It is obvious that he is going to be fantastic part of our family and we are excited to watch him grow.

I think animal adoption is so important and we adopted sweet Canon from a great local puppy rescue. Lifeline Puppy Rescue is located in Brighton, Colorado and they are a fantastic organization. The volunteers and staff at Lifeline were so wonderful and patient throughout the whole adoption process. They are a no kill shelter and It is obvious that they really care about finding their puppies a great home for life. Not only do they care for and adopt out puppies but they also help to make sure that older dogs in numerous rural areas in and around Colorado are spay and neutered. I cannot say enough about this great organization. So if you are looking to adopt a new furry friend or if you are looking for a great animal rescue organization to donate too, I highly recommend Lifeline.
