Me and my camera

My love of photography began over 20 years ago.  I always felt the urge to document my life through pictures. It was after my first son was born in 1991 that my camera became a permanent attachment. Photo shoots became part of my daily routine because as a mother, it was so important for me to capture every single glorious moment of his childhood.  Time moves so quickly and I didn’t want to miss one second. I cannot begin to count how many rolls of film I developed in his first year alone.

15 years later my second son was born and once again my camera was my constant companion.  It was during this time that photography became more than just a way to document my son’s childhood; it became an extension of my artistic self.  Some artists use paint, some marble; I use my camera.

Photography is a perfect medium for me because it combines my love of people with my need to create. How I am blessed to do what I love while doing something special for others. I could not ask for more.

This blog is an opportunity for me not only to give my clients a sneak peek of their images, but also to share my love for photography and news about my business.
